We are seeking a talented and innovative AI/ML Engineer to push the boundaries of what is possible with AI. The ideal candidate will have a robust foundation in artificial intelligence, coupled with a proven track record in developing and deploying AI systems, with machine learning being a valuable complement. You will play a pivotal role in pioneering projects that leverage Generative AI to create new and transformative experiences. Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, evaluate and deploy generative AI systems that can handle a wide variety of tasks, including but not limited to classification, question answering, recommendation, translation, knowledge retrieval, content creation and summarization.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to define and propose PoC and MVP scopes
• Evaluate the costs, risks, and potential impacts of deploying generative AI solutions, providing insights to guide decision-making ensuring alignment with Responsible AI principles.
• Manage and progress multiple PoCs/projects simultaneously by leveraging research and experience from team members, proactively identifying similarities to enhance efficiency and innovation.
• Demonstrate self-sufficiency by accurately estimating and delivering work, maintaining a focus on business values and commitments to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI components into larger systems and incorporate existing data into AI components.
• Stay up to date with the latest AI research and methodologies to ensure the use of best practices in the field.
• Apply MLOps/LLMOps principles to ensure scalability and efficiency.
• Utilize Azure, AWS or Google AI tooling to build and maintain robust solutions.
• Generate ideas for enhancement and assist in the evaluation process for selecting the most suitable technologies.
• Identify and apply fit-for-purpose approaches and techniques, such as model prompting, retrieval-augmented generation, deep research, knowledge graphs, and broadly speaking, agentic systems, to perform diverse tasks effectively.
• Conduct regular technology reviews to stay updated on the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, computer vision, and NLP.

Requirements

Must Have:

• Proven experience in computer vision and NLP workloads.
• Deep understanding of knowledge mining techniques.
• Hands-on experience with generative AI models and familiarity with common use cases for Generative AI.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with software development best practices.
• Experience with MLOps/LLMops for maintaining machine learning lifecycle.
• Familiarity with Azure, AWS or Google AI tooling.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with common Machine Learning techniques such as classification, regression, clustering, and deep learning.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) knowledge.
• Familiarity with DevOps and Agile methodologies in a collaborative setting.
• Doctorate degree (PhD) or equivalent research experience.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related field.
• Proven track record of successfully implementing AI/ML projects.
