Description

Buzz, part of the Ryanair Group and headquartered in Warsaw (Poland), have a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious & career driven candidate who wants to develop their career within Europe’s largest airline group.  This is a key role, working closely with the Buzz Chief Financial Officer (CFO) & managing all aspects of airline finance.  As Head of Finance, you will play a key role in the strategic growth of the airline which is growing to a fleet of almost 90 aircraft in 2026.

Duties Include:

• Manage the preparation of financial & management reports, incl. monthly, quarterly & annual financial statements.
• Cost control, incl. oversight of cost saving initiatives with the CFO.
• Provide insightful and timely financial reporting to the leadership team to support informed decision-making.
• Planning, co-ordinating and managing internal and external audits.
• Identifying, recommending and assisting in implementation of systems to drive efficiency and enhance productivity.
• Mentor and lead a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Qualified Accountant with a minimum 5 years PQE.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent attention to detail, strong ownership of work and ability to thrive in a fast-paced and results-oriented environment.
• Experience in ERP and accounting system (SAP preferred)
• Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
• Fluency in both spoken and written English is necessary.
• Knowledge of Polish GAAP and the Polish tax system (incl. VAT filings) would be beneficial, but not essential.
