Description

Crewlink Ireland, in cooperation with their client airline Ryanair are currently recruiting for a Chief Instructor to support the Challenger fleet of Europe's Largest Airline Group.
This is an excellent time to join Ryanair as we look to grow to over 800 aircraft and 300m guests within the next 10 years. 
Based in London Stansted Airport, the successful candidate will be responsible for training and instructing all new entrant crew and recurrent training of over 30 pilots across our two operational bases, the fleet of Challengers run an Engineering support role for Ryanair by transporting parts, engineers and crew in response to AOGs across Ryanair’s network of 230+ airports. This is a vital role ensuring that Ryanair’s EU261 liabilities are low and our guests reach their destinations with minimal disruption.

The Chief Instuctor is responsible for

  • The safety of all Training operations
  • Monitoring of compliance with company policy of all crewmembers on line Training operations
  • Compilation and management of Line & Ground Training Programme
  • Liaising with Simulator training provider to specify Simulator Training Programme with Loft Exercises
  • Developing and maintaining Challenger specific online Courses as required by the Chief Pilot
  • Compilation of a SEP Course and Material
  • Compilation of Training Instructions & Memo’s
  • Compilation of Malta Air Limited in-house Courses
  • Maintaining Training Records & Forms
  • Management of the Command Upgrade programme (Route to Command)
  • Deputising for Chief Pilot as required.
  • Regular managaement reporting
  • Maintaining Challenger Training manuals and procedures manuals.
  • Operating as a Line Captain when training is not required.

Requirements

  • Hold the unrestricted right to live and work in the UK and travel freely throughout the entire Ryanair network.
  • Valid EASA/ UK ATPL and Class 1 Medical.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience working as LTC, LCC, TRE or similar instructing role
  • Minimum 3500 flight hours with at least 1000 PIC in a Multi Crew Multi Engine Aircraft
  • Previous Business jet experience, or hold a current Challenger or Learjet 45X Type Rating would be highly regarded
  • Competency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
