Description
Ryanair Engineering delivered by SIAM is one of facilities in Europe that make up the Ryanair Heavy Maintenance Engineering group. At the facility in Seville (Spain) we are responsible for conducting extensive base maintenance checks on Ryanair’s fleet of Boeing 737-800/8200 aircraft. We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Assistant to join our dedicated team based in Seville, Spain. This is an excellent opportunity to work with Europe’s leading airline.
The successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Support the planning and execution of aircraft heavy maintenance projects.
- Assist in coordinating engineering, maintenance, quality, planning, and supply chain activities.
- Support project schedule monitoring, progress tracking, and cost control activities.
- Assist in the preparation and control of technical and project documentation, including scopes of work, task cards, engineering orders, and reports.
- Monitor project milestones and identify risks or deviations, escalating issues when required.
- Support configuration control, change management, and compliance with approved data.
- Participate in technical meetings, production meetings, and customer reviews, documenting actions and follow‑ups.
- Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and standards (EASA Part‑145).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Previous experience or internship in aircraft maintenance, or aviation engineering is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of heavy maintenance processes, aircraft systems, and maintenance documentation.
- Familiarity with aviation regulations (EASA) is a plus.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Proactive, positive approach, ability to work on own initiative.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Experience with maintenance systems or project management tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of AMOS advantageous.
- Understanding of quality processes and procedures.
- Prepared to work shift if required.
- Ability to work without direct supervision.
