Reports to: Prestwick Workshop Supervisor

Direct Reports: Mechanics and Trainees

Duties Include:

• Supervise & organise manpower and planning 
• Organise and evaluate repairs 
• Allocation and prioritisation of tasks and management of technical jobs 
• Ordering & progressing spares 
• Ensuring documentation is completed correctly in accordance with maintenance and company procedures 
• Ensuring that company regulations and policies are enforced 
• Ensuring the work area and environment are kept clean and tidy at all times 
• Developing skills of all staff, including apprentices and trainee mechanics 
• Assist with & carry out Avionic repairs 
• Any additional tasks allocated by management 

Requirements

• Avionic repair experience essential 
• Experience of inspecting components & compiling work packs desirable but not essential 
• Must have or be willing to work towards gaining company CRS approval 
• Previous supervisory experience desirable but not essential 
• Must be flexible, including availability to work occasional night shift and overtime as and when required
