IT Desktop Support Porto (OPO) – JCAM

JC Aircraft Maintenance is an engineering services company supporting Ryanair’s engineering function in Spain, Portugal and Morocco.
JCAM is currently recruiting a IT Desktop Support  in Porto (OPO), Portugal.

Your responsibilities as Desktop Support will include:

• Responsible for end user support primarily for the Porto hangars and engineering offices and other remote engineering sites in Portugal.
• Organise stock and inventory of IT equipment.
• Monitor the performance of the company’s desktop infrastructure and make suggestions for improving efficiency, security, and automation of day-to-day tasks.
• Evaluate applications and software patches for desktop applications to see if they will solve desktop issues.
• End-User/Client facing configuration of Office 365.
• Working Knowledge of Active Directory.
• Support Triage steps to determine User, PC, Network, or Application problems
• Monitor, update, and manage a ticket queue with the goal of resolving issues within agreed SLA’s.
• Network Printer installation / troubleshooting.
• Comfortable supporting mobile hardware (iPad, iPhone, Android).
• Management and tracking of inventory through the full Asset Management Life Cycle.
• Work on a variety of projects and report progress to management weekly.

Requirements

• +1 year hand on desktop support experience in a busy IT environment (While some background in IT is necessary, a positive can-do attitude to learn and complete the work at hand is essential and will be considered).
• Experience in remote PC fault diagnosis/troubleshooting
• Strong troubleshooting skills with PC hardware
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Windows 7/10/11, Office 365, Virtual Apps, Printing, Symantec Antivirus & Encryption, VPN, WDS, SCCM, ServiceNow, Jira.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills are essential
• Good team player
• Fluent in English.
• Ability to work unsupervised and complete required tasks.
• Driving licence
