Ryanair is currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to join the team based in our Malta office

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and commercially minded Management Accountant to support our growing operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and proactive individual to advance their career in the aviation industry, working closely with senior and C-level management. The candidate will be responsible for analysing and presenting financial data across multiple business areas, ensuring robust monthly accounting controls, and contributing to strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyse financial data for internal reporting and decision-making.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Contribute to financial reporting and liaise with internal and external auditors.
• Manage tight accounting deadlines effectively.
• Evaluate company performance using key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Supervise and mentor junior team members.
• Be flexible and willing to travel within our network as required.

Requirements

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent).
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role (e.g., Management Accountant or Accounting Supervisor).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, cost accounting, and financial reporting.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Proficient in budgeting, forecasting, and risk analysis.
• Advanced skills in MS Excel and familiarity with financial software.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
