As the Station Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of safety, reliability, and performance across all maintenance operations. This is a challenging and dynamic leadership role that requires strong organisational skills, people management experience, and a solid background in aircraft maintenance and engineering.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

As part of the UK Management Team, the successful candidate will support in the leadership and management of Ryanair's UK Engineering Line Stations and a team of technical staff.

Duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Management of Routine Maintenance, Aircraft Incidents & AOG’s
  • Manpower planning, recruitment and staff performance management
  • Ensuring appropriate spares, tooling and facilities are available at each location
  • Conducting regular visits to Line Stations across the UK, ensuring staff welfare and regulatory compliance
  • Investigating Maintenance Delays, Engineering Safety Reports and Non-Compliances & implementing strategies to prevent recurrence.

Requirements

 

    • Proven experience in a management role (e.g., Engineering Manager, Maintenance Manager, Operations Manager or similar).
    • Strong team management skills, with experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to rapidly changing priorities.
    • Flexible, hands-on approach to leadership.
    • Full computer literacy with experience of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet Explorer).
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Knowledge of Aviation Processes is an advantage but not essential
