Description

Aircraft Engineering Services are currently recruiting for a HR Generalist on behalf of Ryanair Engineering. This is an excellent opportunity to join as we look to grow to over 800 aircraft and 300m guests within the next 10 years.

 

The life of a HR Generalist at Ryanair can vary quite a bit! They are the face of our HR Team and will be on hand to support our Engineering Staff in the UK.

 

The role deals with a broad range of HR issues and administration, from legal cases to drafting contracts and all the stuff in between, while travelling frequently to your assigned bases to meet with employees and answer any queries they may have. This is a perfect opportunity for a HR Generalist seeking a challenge and to join a fast paced and dynamic working environment.

 

Duties Include:

  • Managing a broad range of HR administrative activities, ensuring accurate and efficient employee records and documentation including right-to-work checks and pre-employment compliance are completed.
  • Coordinate end-to-end onboarding processes, including new starter administration, inductions, and compliance requirements.
  • Process and manage Airside Pass applications and renewals in line with airport security regulations.
  • Organise and coordinate company social events and employee engagement activities.
  • Conduct return-to-work meetings and support the absence management process.
  • Provide employee relations support, handling routine HR queries and assisting with workplace issues.
  • Regularly visit Northern operational bases to provide on-site HR support to Aircraft Engineering Services staff.
  • Work closely with Station managers and employees to ensure HR policies and procedures are consistently applied across multiple bases.
  • Support HR Manager on ad hoc administration process and projects.
  • Coordination of Drugs & Alcohol Testing Regime
  • Manage expired Training Reporting & Follow-up (as required)
  • Provide a weekly report to the HR Manager.
  • Base Administration for the North Region including Hotel and Flight bookings, welfare packs, stationary and anything else as required.

Requirements

  • CIPD qualified (Level 5 or higher)
  • Minimum 5+ years HR experience
  • Experience within aviation highly advantageous
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Ability to travel within Europe
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to work in a pressurised and fast paced environment
  • The ability to work on own initiative
