Description

SEAM (South East Aviation Malta Ltd), an engineering services company supporting Ryanair’ s engineering function in South East Europe, is currently looking for a Maintenance Coordinator to be based in Malta. 

  • Description

    Based in our Hangar at Malta International Airport , you will report to the Station Manager and be responsible for providing technical expertise to oversee technical defects and the maintenance of our fleet of over 600 aircraft. You will monitor aircraft technical defects with a view to required maintenance and operational requirements, whilst maintaining the highest levels of Airworthiness standards, fleet reliability and maximum serviceability

    Responsibilities:

    − Verifying that all technical documentation needed for the execution of maintenance is in 
    proper condition of validity (updated and approved) and that any errors or defects in the 
    publications of the TC Holder are notified in accordance with the MOE.
    − Checking and issuing technical documentation that may be necessary.
    − Assisting the Station Supervisor in the definition and analysis of the rectification of defects found 
    during maintenance
    − Maintenance planning taking into consideration Human Factors, the availability of personnel 
    and time, environmental issues, logistics, equipment, material, products, manuals and 
    infrastructure.
    − Checking and issuing of Customer Work Orders and Work Reports.
    − Issuing Work Orders for works commissioned to other maintenance companies.
    − Procurement of equipment, products and spare parts necessary for the implementation of 
    the planned work.
    − Ensuring the collection, verification and filing of the documentation relating to maintenance.
    − Assisting management in day to day administrative tasks as required.

     

     

Requirements

  • A Diploma in Engineering / Airport Operations, or a similar discipline, is preferred; equivalent experience may also be considered.
  • Previous experience in administration, logistics coordination, or similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital tools for record-keeping.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Knowledge or experience within the aviation industry is considered an asset.
