Description

Kaunas Aircraft Maintenance Services, or simply called KAMS, is one of Ryanair’s technical support bases in Europe, located at Kaunas airport, Lithuania. Our daily task is to perform technical maintenance and repair for 2 Boeing 737-800 aircraft which are serviced in our 4 hangars. KAMS goal is to provide highest level of services and ensure Ryanair passengers fly safely.

Ryanair is Europe’s favourite low fares airline, operating more than 3,300 daily flights from over 90 bases, connecting 230 destinations in over 37 countries and operating a fleet of over 570 Boeing 737 aircraft.

We are looking for a Trainee Workshop Mechanic to work in the Structures Workshop,  repairing components made of metal structure, such as inlet cowls, engine fan cowls, stabilizers, slats. Position based in Kaunas, Lithuania.

Description

  • Working in the structural aircraft components workshop
  • Metalworking tasks including bending, cutting, drilling, grinding, and riveting
  • Operating various equipment using riveting and metal forming technologies
  • Working in a team alongside experienced aircraft repair technicians
  • Rotating shift schedule: 5/3 - 4/3 - 4/3 - 5/3, from 07:00 to 19:00 

Requirements

  • Technical education/experience or experience working in aircraft maintenance organizations – is an advantage.
  • Self-motivation, to be able to work without direct supervision.
  • Flexible approach to work in a fast-changing environment.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good English skills (both written and oral).
  • Good computer literacy.
  • Willing to work on rotating shift schedule: 5/3 - 4/3 - 4/3 - 5/3, from 07:00 to 19:00
