Want to become an aircraft mechanic? Join our paid Aircraft Mechanic Apprenticeship Program!

Kaunas Aircraft Maintenance Services (KAMS) is forming a new group of aircraft mechanic apprentices, starting August 5.

From day one, you will participate in a paid 6-month apprenticeship program consisting of theoretical and practical training, as well as hands-on experience working on aircraft. Upon successful completion, you may have the opportunity to join the KAMS team under a permanent employment contract.

Location: Karmėlava, Kaunas, Lithuania

During the Training and Apprenticeship You Will:

✈ Gain theoretical knowledge of aircraft structures, systems, and operating principles;

✈ Learn the fundamentals of aircraft maintenance, including relevant processes and procedures;

✈ Apply the knowledge gained during training in a practical environment;

✈ Assist experienced aircraft mechanics and engineers in performing aircraft maintenance tasks;

✈ Carry out other duties related to the aircraft mechanic profession.

 

Responsibilities After Completing the Program:

✈ Support and assist experienced aircraft mechanics and engineers in scheduled aircraft maintenance and repair work;

✈ Ensure that assigned tasks are completed on time and meet all required standards;

✈ Participate in company-organized training and professional development programs;

✈ Perform other duties related to the aircraft mechanic position.
 

Requirements

✈ Good English language skills (training may be conducted in English);

✈ Strong organizational and time-management skills;

✈ Availability to attend training and work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, and after completion transition to a rotating shift schedule: 5 working days / 3 days off, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM;

✈ Studies in aviation, engineering, or mechanics (considered an advantage);

✈ Experience in mechanics or a technical field.

Salary: €1,700–€1,950 month/gross

The stated salary applies during the training period. Afterward, it increases according to the professional development and qualification progression program, which will be explained during the interview.
