Sheet Metal Workers – Join Our Team in Hahn, Germany
The Role and Responsibilities of a Sheet Metal Worker
- Perform structural repairs and part replacements on Boeing 737-800 aircraft in compliance with approved maintenance manuals and regulatory standards
- Carry out metal assembly tasks including cutting, filing, drilling, countersinking, fitting, shimming, adjusting, clamping, bolting, reaming, riveting, and bucking.
- Operate standard tools and equipment such as bending machines, drills, and grinders.
- Work in accordance with company policies, procedures, and the Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE).
- Identify and implement effective repair solutions using the Structural Repair Manual (SRM).
- Complete both routine and non-routine aircraft structural tasks with a focus on quality and compliance.
- Ensure accurate completion and certification of aircraft documentation in line with MOE and company procedures.
Requirements
- Good knowledge of the materials used in aviation
- Manual skills and precision, attention to detail
- Knowledge of technical drawing
- Willing to work shifts
- Applicants must have a valid EU/EEA passport with the unrestricted right to live and work in the European Union
- Interpersonal and intercultural skills
- A valid EU driver's license
- Good knowledge of English (written and spoken) / German would be an advantage and computer skills (MS Office)
- Preferably holds a German security clearance in accordance with § 7 of German Aviation Security regulations.
