Description
Ryanair, Europe's Largest Airline Group, is currently recruiting for a Technical Services Systems Manager.

Reporting to the Head of Technical Services, the Systems Manager will be responsible for
the Systems Department, across the Ryanair Group Airlines. As Technical Services Systems Manager, you will manage the team to ensure the department successfully delivers its core objectives, while also meeting the challenges of the continuing growth of the Ryanair Group.
Responsibilities include:
- Effective management of the systems team to ensure it delivers on its core objectives.
- Providing subject matter expertise for all airframe systems (excluding Avionics and Powerplant).
- Liaising with Boeing/Airbus/Bombardier and equipment manufacturers on timely resolution of technical issues.
- Providing year-round technical support for AOGs as well as supporting scheduled maintenance during the Ryanair Group’s winter season.
- Review of OEM service documents and control of Airworthiness Directives.
- Support of the Reliability section with the identification and resolution of repetitive failures across the fleet.
- Creation of technical reports in support of issues (e.g. Incidents; Significant Defects).
- Continually drive compliance and efficiency improvements within Technical Services Systems.
- Provide management of special projects and other duties as required from time to time.
Requirements
- The successful person will have at least 5 years’ experience working in an airline/MRO in a similar/relevant role.
- Detailed technical knowledge of 737, A320 and CL350 design and maintenance.
- Detailed knowledge of EASA Part-M, Part-CAMO, Part-21 and Part-145 regulations.
- Ability to effectively manage and mentor a large team.
- Excellent communication skills, both in-person and by electronic means.
- The ability to operate at the highest level within Ryanair’s Engineering organisation.
- Flexible approach with project delivery being a high priority.
- Strong attention to detail in multi-tasking situations and the ability to deliver results to tight timelines.
