Description

Ryanair is currently hiring for a Supply Chain Analyst to join Europe's Largest Airline Group.

The Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Supply Chain Analytics Manager in analysing supply chain, procurement and materials data within the Engineering Materials department. The role will assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes, reporting, data accuracy and operational efficiency, with a specific focus on procurement activity, supplier performance, purchase order management and material availability.

This individual will support the development of dashboards, KPIs and reporting tools to improve visibility across the Materials department and help ensure that purchasing and supply chain decisions are data-driven. The role will involve working closely with internal stakeholders to support the airline’s operational requirements. This role is designed for a candidate beginning their career in supply chain, procurement, data analytics or aviation materials management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Supply Chain Analytics Manager in reviewing and improving processes across the Engineering Materials department
  • Assist in analysing procurement activity, including purchase order creation, open order management, supplier follow-up, overdue orders, delivery performance and order closure.
  • Support the mapping and documentation of procurement processes to identify inefficiencies, duplication, manual work and opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
  • Assist in the development of standardised procurement reports, dashboards and tracking tools to improve visibility of purchasing activity.
  • Analyse procurement and supplier data to identify trends, recurring issues, delays and opportunities to improve material availability.
  • Support the tracking of open purchase orders, overdue orders, supplier acknowledgements, expected delivery dates and lead time performance.
  • Assist in identifying purchasing bottlenecks and support the implementation of practical process improvements.
  • Support the development and maintenance of KPIs for procurement, inventory, supplier performance and wider supply chain activity.
  • Gather, clean and validate data from procurement, inventory and materials systems to support accurate reporting and analysis.
  • Support demand and usage reviews, including seasonal analysis, line maintenance requirements and heavy maintenance requirements.
  • Work with the LABs / BI teams to support the development of internal reporting tools and dashboards.
  • Assist in improving data quality within procurement and materials systems by identifying inconsistencies, missing information and reporting gaps.
  • Support continuous improvement projects across the Materials department.
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Planning, Stores, Logistics, Repairs, Finance and Engineering teams to gather information and support process improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in preparing presentations, reports and analysis for internal meetings and management reviews.
  • Provide general analytical and administrative support to the Supply Chain Analytics Manager as required.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant third-level qualification in Supply Chain Management, Business, Data Analytics, Logistics, Procurement, Engineering, Aviation Management or a related field preferred.
  • Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft
  • Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python or other data analytics tools would be an advantage.
  • Understanding of basic supply chain, procurement or inventory concepts would be beneficial.
  • No prior aviation experience required, but an interest in aviation, engineering materials or aircraft spare parts would be advantageous.
