Description

Ryanair are curently recruiting for a Social Media Creator to join Europe's Largest Airline Group.

This is an excellent time to join as we look to grow to over 800 aircraft and 300m guests within the next 10 years.

Duties:

  • Create reactive, relevant, high impact content across TikTok, Instagram, X, Facebook, YouTube — and whatever platform Gen Z invents next week.
  • Jump on cultural moments and trending formats at speed — turning ideas into scroll stopping posts before the internet moves on.
  • Write sharp, witty copy in the classic Ryanair tone (funny, cheeky, occasionally spicy)
  • Support daily content production, scheduling and community engagement — keeping replies quick, clever and on brand.
  • Help manage and evolve the content calendar (and rip it up when a better idea lands, obviously).
  • Work with PR, Marketing, Customer Comms, Ops and Brand teams to support major campaigns and those "internet breaking" moments Ryanair is known for.
  • Track performance, report on what’s working, and suggest ways to keep raising the bar, the humour and the engagement.

Requirements

  • Experience working in social media for a major consumer brand, publisher or similarly big brand environment.
  • A natural feel for internet culture, meme logic, real time trends and all things social.
  • Killer copywriting skills — short, sharp, funny. Word wise and culturally aware.
  • Experience across multiple social platforms, not just one.
  • Ability to think fast, create faster, and keep calm even when the internet goes feral.
  • Strong organisational skills and comfort working in a rapid fire environment (we move fast — you need to, too).
  • A sense of humour. A cheeky streak. A “send it” attitude.
  • Bonus points: Adobe Creative Suite skills, video editing chops, extra languages, or a suspiciously deep knowledge of aviation memes.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary
  • Discounted and unlimited travel to over 250 destinations
  • Defined Contribution Pension Scheme
  • Death in Service Benefit – Up to 2 times of annual basic salary
  • 20 Days Annual Leave – Increasing to 22 days after 12 months and 25 days after 3 years of continuous service.
  • Option for up to 5 additional unpaid leave days per year
  • Cycle 2 Work Scheme
  • Unrivalled career progression
