Description
Ryanair are currently hiring a Senior International Comms Executive to join our ever-growing Sales & Marketing team.
This is a great opportunity to join Europe's Largest Airline Group, as we grow to 800 Aircraft and 300 Million Passengers by 2034.
The successful candidate will be based in Dublin with travel to international markets and will work closely with our Senior Leadership in HQ. This is a permanent position and key responsibilities will include supporting Ryanair with market intelligence, improving relationships with local key stakeholders including media (national and regional), tourist boards, and airports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of Ryanair’s integrated PR/ communications plans across European markets, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Support the localization of corporate communications and the development of market-relevant stories / angles.
- Help secure high-impact media coverage for growth initiatives, milestones, and other key business topics.
- Draft press releases, media statements, op-eds, Q&As, speeches, presentations, and briefing materials for both proactive and reactive communications.
- Assist in organizing and managing press events, photo opportunities, media roundtables, and interviews with senior management.
- Monitor media sentiment and coverage trends to identify risks, opportunities, and shifts in narrative, providing timely insights to senior management.
- Assist in building and maintaining relationships with key external stakeholders, including airports & tourism boards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and stories for external communications.
- Travel across Ryanair’s markets to support media activity.
Requirements
- 3+ years in communications, public relations, and marketing (in-house or agency).
- Knowledge of the aviation and/or travel industry is preferred.
- Fluency in English & Italian is required; proficiency in additional languages is highly desirable.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills with confidence in presenting ideas.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and time-management abilities, with strong attention to detail.
- Experience working in an agile, fast-paced setting.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure while maintaining a positive, collaborative attitude.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is a plus
