Description

Ryanair are currently recruiting for a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join the Customer Service team of Europe's largest airline group.

The Senior Accounts Payable Specialist will work in a busy and demanding team environment encompassing all aspects of the accounts payable process. The position requires a candidate with a good skill set in software applications, accounts payable processes and communication. Located at Ryanair Head Office, Airside Business Park, Swords, the role will include, but not be limited to, the following:

Duties Include:

  • Assist the Accounts Payable Manager with overseeing process improvement projects including system implementation, upgrades, and maintenance
  • Continuously monitor systems and processes with a view to making efficiency gains
  • Preparation and execution of payment files
  • Key account management
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and SOX controls
  • Provide support and information to the finance team
  • Liaising with all departments within the organisation

Requirements

  • Strong accounts payable experience
  • Prior experience of SAP accounting system is beneficial
  • Excellent time management with the ability to prioritise tasks
  • Problem solving skills with the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a wider team.
  • Understanding of workflow systems is an advantage
