We are currently recruiting a People Manager - Flight Operations to join Europe's Largest Airline Group.

This is an excellent time to join as we look to grow to over 800 aircraft and 300m guests per year within the next 10years.

This is an excellent role for an experienced People Manager looking to join our 'Flight Operations Bases Management' team based at our Global Headquarters in Swords, Co Dublin, Ireland.

The successful candidate will act as a point of contact to pilots and ensure that all pilot queries are managed in a timely and professional manner. You will offer a "best in class" service to ensure that our pilots are operating as efficiently as possible. You will gain experience in a wide range of Flight Operations activities.

This is an exciting way to gain a thorough grounding in Ryanair’s flight operations team and will equip you with skills which can to take you into other parts of the airline. We look for people who are keen to learn and quick to adapt. People who can get stuck into small tasks, but aren’t afraid to take on the really big ones.

The ideal candidate should have a keen interest in the aviation industry, a head for data, the ability to communicate effectively experience of working in a busy, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Base Captains to ensure compliance with Ryanair’s policies and procedures.
  • Manage day to day operational issues.
  • Streamline procedures to assure continued efficiency for pilots and management.
  • Respond to any pilot query within a timely manner and offer a "best in class" service to our pilots.
  • Manage base requests and allocations.
  • Manage the relationship with 3rd party agencies.
  • Measure efficiency and report weekly on key performance indicators.
  • Identify and resolve local and / or individual pilot issues etc.
  • Liaise with managers from different departments as required.
  • Conduct base visits.

Requirements

  • Fantastic people skills.
  • Excellent communication, both written and verbal
  • Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a HR/Flight Ops/Retail service/ delivery function, ideally aviation but this is not a pre-requisite.
  • Ability to make a difference and ensure that our pilots focus is on operations.
  • Unrestricted right to live and work in Ireland and travel freely throughout the Ryanair network.
