Description
Ryanair, Europe’s largest airline group, are recruiting a PR & Communications Manager. This role will be responsible for driving media coverage in support of our key business objectives across the 36 markets we operate to/from, as well as managing day-to-day operations across the PR & Communications Team.
The successful candidate will be based in our Dublin HQ, where they will work closely with our Senior Management and C-suite.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, deliver and maintain a communications strategy that drives high quality media coverage in support of Ryanair’s key business objectives across the 36 markets in which we operate.
- Manage day-to-day operations across the PR & Communications Team, ensuring deadlines are met and actions are completed to a high standard.
- Prepare press releases, presentations, briefing packs, media responses, and other key press materials, ensuring an on-time and error free delivery.
- Brief senior management and C-suite ahead of media engagements.
- Build and maintain active relationships with key stakeholders including media, tourist boards and airports.
- Work closely with Commercial, IT, Operations and other key departments.
- Keep the business up to date on current affairs and industry news, identifying PR/Comms opportunities that support our key business objectives.
Requirements
- At least 3 years’ experience working in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field (in-house or agency).
- Knowledge of the international media landscapes and strong mainstream media contacts.
- Highly organised with experience working in an agile, fast-paced, high-pressure environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Confident presenter with exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
- Impeccable attention to detail.
- Strong business acumen and ability to think critically.
- Genuine interest in news and current affairs.
- Ability to travel internationally as required.
- An interest in the aviation industry is not essential but will help!
