Description

Ryanair, Europe’s largest airline group, is recruiting an ambitious and hardworking PR & Communication Executive to join our best-in-class Communications Team. This role will play a fundamental role in driving media coverage across Europe in support of our key business objectives, from launching new routes/bases to pushing for policy reforms. To do this, you’ll need to have a ‘can-do’ attitude, be able to think on your feet and use your own initiative, juggle multiple tasks at once, and have exceptional attention-to-detail, as well as having a genuine interest in news and current affairs.

The successful candidate will be based in our Dublin HQ and will report to the PR & Comms Manager.

Duties include:

  • Play an active role in delivering Ryanair’s communication strategy across the 36 countries in which we operate.
  • Manage press queries and prepare media statements.
  • Prepare press releases, presentations, and other press materials, ensuring an on-time and error free delivery.
  • Coordinate media and key stakeholder events.
  • Pitch interviews and deliver strategic briefing documents for Senior Management.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather information to support and strengthen our communications.
  • Media monitoring and coverage analysis.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year experience working in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field (in-house or agency). 
  • Highly organised with experience working in an agile, fast-paced, high-pressure environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Impeccable attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel internationally as required.
  • An interest in the aviation industry is not essential but will help!
