Ryanair is currently recruiting a Model Validation Analyst to join the Commercial Analytics Team in our Yield department, to join Europe’s largest airline group!
This is an excellent time to join Ryanair as we look to grow to over 800 aircraft and 300m guests per year withing the next 10 years.
We are looking for an analytically minded and commercially astute individual who will contribute to department strategy by completing analytical work, participate in company-wide collaborations and supporting the Yield team with the right insights.
From negotiating airport contracts to optimising Ryanair's routes and flight schedule, our Commercial department is at the forefront of everything we do as an airline. Working in the commercial department, no two days are the same and the decisions that you make impact the day to day running of the airline. This position will be based at Ryanair’s Head Office in Airside Business Park in Swords.
Duties include:
- Explore and develop Revenue Analytics for reporting and other purposes
- Analyse business performance by applying, developing and/or reviewing models regarding load factor and financial yield data.
- Give input and improve experimentation framework
- Partner with Data Scientists from Ryanair Labs to improve solution architectures and business objectives understanding.
- Give input for further development of Yield data science models
- Execute and develop new yield model validation procedures
- Analyse and potentially manage revenue on flights using a bespoke system.
Requirements
- Experience with various data visualisation/ statistical analysis packages such as Tableau, PowerBI, Dax, SAS or Stata. Some exposure to R/Python.
- Experience with SQL querying and cloud environments e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP.
- Experience in an airline Yield department is an advantage
- Experience with translating business requirements into analytical problems by prototyping actual solutions and architectures.
- A degree in one or more of Statistics, Applied Sciences, Aviation Management, Finance, Economics, or related fields.
