Ryanair is currently recruiting for a Logistics & Retail Executive to join Europe's largest airline group!

This is an excellent time to join Ryanair as we look to grow to over 800 aircraft and 300m guests within the next 10 years. 

Reporting to the Inflight Operations and Supply Chain Manager, this is a key role to support the IT & Supply Chain functions along with management of Key Bond accounts to support the Bond Contract & Operations Manager.  As the retail turnover grows into a €300m+ pa business, it is critical to ensure that all flights are loaded in full daily, Supply Chain runs smoothly, and is supported by the IT infrastructure to deliver a high-quality and efficient service.

Duties include but not limited to;

  • Bond Management – Key point of contact for nominated Bonds and point of escalation.
  • Manage key Bond accounts ensuring all service standards and SLA’s are met.
  • Mitigate risks or issues with Bonds and apply service credits as applicable.
  • Investigate stock discrepancies and damages with corrective actions to ensure profitability is maintained.
  • Ensure stock and equipment availability in all Bonds and manage exit plans, new listings, and promotions as appropriate to deliver profitable returns.
  • Manage Bond seasonal critical paths, ensuring all milestones are met.
  • Manage all safety reports, crew reports, etc with full investigations and timely resolution.
  • Lead Bond Audit program to investigate discrepancies, with robust reporting and timely resolution and actions.
  • Manage all IT projects with providers ensuring delivered on time, and on budget with all key stakeholders kept updated.
  • Key POC for service desk and crew queries.
  • Maintain all master data in vector, ensuring all updates are tested and deployed in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Strong computer skills with proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel Level 3, Outlook, Powerpoint etc.)
  • A passion for retailing and cost management.
  • Commercial edge and analytical acumen with strong numerical and forecasting skills.
  • Strong Verbal and Written communication skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Prior experience in the aviation industry an advantage.
  • A motivated, reliable and adaptable team colleague, who can proactively contribute to finding solutions.
  • Willing to travel when required.
