Description

Ryanair is currently recruiting for a Lead Line Maintenance Planning Engineer to join our Planning Department.

This is a very exciting time to join Ryanair as we look to expand our operation to 800 aircraft and 300 million guests within the next 10 years.

Reporting to the Line Maintenance Planning Manager and Head of Planning the successful candidate will be based in our office in Swords, Co Dublin.
The Role:

  • Providing day-to-day oversight of all Line Maintenance Planning requirements throughout the Ryanair Group Network.
  • The creation of daily progress reports on current line maintenance plans to the Line Maintenance Planning Manager and Head of Planning.
  • Liaising directly with 3rd Party Maintenance Organisations and suppliers to ensure availability for upcoming maintenance requirements.
  • Creation and regular update of short, medium and long-term line maintenance plans to ensure sufficient capacity available for fleet growth up to 300M passengers.
     

Requirements

This is a senior Maintenance Planning position and will suit an exceptional candidate with the following key skills and experience:

  • At least 2 years’ experience working in an airline or maintenance organisation in a planning role with detailed understanding of EASA Part-M, Part-CAMO and Part-145 regulations essential.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to lead team projects & drive team competency.
  • Flexible approach with project delivery being a high priority.
  • Strong attention to detail in multi-tasking situations and the ability to deliver results to tight timelines.
  • MS Office Proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint etc.)
  • Experience with AMOS and Smartsheets desirable.
  • A relevant engineering degree or an aircraft maintenance technician qualification with additional education that is acceptable to a competent authority.
