Description

Ryanair, Europe’s Largest Airline Group, are currently hiring for a Reliability Manager. This is a great time to join Ryanair, as we look to expand to 800 aircraft, and 300 million passengers by 2034.

The following position is eligible to be based in either Dublin or Madrid. 

The responsibilities of the successful candidate will include:

  • Acting as Deputy to the Reliability Manager when required.
  • The review and analysis of maintenance data relating to components and systems, the identification and resolution of reliability alerts, and identification of solutions for repetitive delay causes.
  • Drive process innovation and automation using Power BI and data programming.
  • Working with Boeing and OEMs to drive reliability improvement into Ryanair’s operation.
  • Performing detailed cost/benefit analysis of reliability improvement options and making solid recommendations to executive management.
  • Provision of reports and analysis of aircraft dispatch reliability and identification of solutions for repetitive delay causes.
  • Participation in reviews with the worldwide 737 operators and influencing Boeing’s reliability priorities.

Requirements

  • Degree in Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineer or B-1/B-2/CAT A license. Degree in Computer Science or a related field, with strong data analytical skills, could also be considered.
  • Proven ability to demonstrate management skills and assume leadership responsibilities.
  • Good knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, Python, Java, or C/C++, and working knowledge of PowerBi, would be preferable.
  • Good working knowledge of AMOS would be preferable.
  • Flexible approach with project delivery being a high priority.
  • Excellent communication skills, both in-person and by electronic means.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a collaborative team environment.
