Ryanair Labs are currently recruiting for an IT Risk & Compliance Analyst to join Europe’s Largest Airline Group!

As IT Risk and Compliance Analyst you will work on a team responsible for development and execution of the internal risk and compliance plan for Ryanair’s IT systems. You will work with Ryanair Labs’ management and development team identifying risks and compliance issues and overseeing remediation plans. This is an exciting opportunity for highly motivated individuals to work in a fast-paced MIS team.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing and maintaining IT controls for SOX and other compliance activities (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR).
  • Perform walkthroughs, test the operating effectiveness of IT controls, and ensure accurate, comprehensive documentation.
  • Assist with the remediation of audit findings and ensuring corrective actions are properly implemented. 
  • Periodically assess IT risks and internal controls to identify gaps in critical IT systems.
  • Manage issue creation and reporting of deviations based on monitoring and assurance activities. 
  • Collaborate with various IT and business teams to address issues, regularly communicating with control owners to present findings, gain acceptance, and provide remediation advice and compliance best practices.
  • Work with internal teams and internal/external auditors during IT audits and assessments.
  • Track and maintain IT compliance documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. An advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CRISC, CISM) is preferred.
  • 1.5+ years of experience working in a Technology Risk, IT Audit, Information Security or a related field.
  • Good understanding of SOX Section 404 and IT General Controls (e.g., access controls, change management, operations).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think outside the box.
  • High attention to detail, including the ability to identify issues, recognize patterns, and flag inconsistencies.
  • Proficiency in working in a fast-paced, complex, and dynamic business environment. 
  • Strong communication and organizational skills to facilitate teamwork and coordinate small to large teams of IT professionals.
