Description

Ryanair are currently recruiting for a Finance Manager - Payments to join Europe's largest airline group.

This is an excellent time to join Ryanair as we look to grow to over 800 aircraft and 300m guests per year within the next 10 years. 

This role will report to the Head of Payments and will oversee all incoming and outgoing cashflows of the Ryanair Group. The role has responsibility for the Banking Department, Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Department. The suitable person will be most likely from a finance background, with experience in high volume transactions and a proven ability to innovate and think outside the box.

This is a permanent position based at our Dublin HQ in Swords.

Duties Include:

  • Liaising with and reporting to top levels of management on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Mentor, develop and support the banking, accounts payable and accounts receivable teams to ensure goals are achieved in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Working with internal business intelligence and business analyst teams to develop a system of best practice controls to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with payment SOX controls
  • Oversea the Intercompany payment process
  • Perform month end accounting tasks

Requirements

  • Ability to deal with complex issues and ambiguity and to be decisive and drive effective action.
  • Finance qualification essential, third level degree or professional accounting accreditation (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred.
  • Excellent people skills, communication and influencing skills
  • Strong MS Excel
  • SAP knowledge beneficial
