Description
Ryanair are currently recruiting for an Engine MRO Engineer to join Europe's Largest Airline Group.

Reporting to the Head of Engine MRO, the Engine Shop Engineer will support directly in establishing and leading the Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul facility for CFM56 and LEAP engines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, map, and optimise all operational process flows to maximise efficiency and deliver industry‑leading turnaround times (TAT).
- Identify all required tooling, equipment, and infrastructure needed to support facility operations, including the Engine Test Cell, ensuring readiness for full operational capability.
- Develop and implement operational procedures, work instructions, and control standards while ensuring compliance with all relevant aviation, regulatory, and safety requirements.
- Define all training needs across the operation; coordinate recruitment and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely staffing and capability development.
- Coordinate cross‑functional activities and maintain alignment with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project milestones and deliverables are achieved.
- Support the creation, management, and monitoring of the project budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and financial control.
- Identify key operational and project risk areas and support the development of appropriate mitigation plans to ensure safe and consistent performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft engine maintenance, repair, and overhaul, with specific experience on CFM56 and LEAP engines.
- Must have previous experience within an Engine MRO/Overhaul facility.
