Description

Ryanair are currently recruiting for a Deputy Structures Manager to join the Engineering Team of Europe's Largest Airline Group.

The Deputy Structures Manager will work with the Structures Engineering Manager to ensure delivery of all elements of the Structures Section in Ryanair’s Technical Services department which includes the following: 

  • Providing technical support to Base Maintenance and Line Maintenance across Ryanair Network
  • Oversight of MROs to ensure Structural repairs, modifications etc are carried out in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Liaising with Boeing, Airbus and other OEM’s on resolution of technical issues. 
  • Support of Reliability section in the identification and resolution of repetitive failures across the fleet. 
  • Maintaining accurate structural records for the RYR group fleet.
  • Provide a detailed review of Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives relating to Aircraft Structures. 
  • Ensure Sufficient Structures resources to support Line and Heavy Maintenance rosters 24/7 or as required.
  • Manage projects as required as they relate to Structures issues. 

Requirements

  • At least 5 years’ experience working in an airline or MRO. 
  • A strong commercial awareness. 
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Detailed technical knowledge of B737NG, MAX and A320 structures.
  • Flexible approach with project delivery being a high priority. 
  • Excellent communication skills. 
  • Strong attention to detail in multi-tasking situations and the ability to deliver results to tight timelines.
