Description

Ryanair are currently recruiting for a Deputy Line Maintenance Manager to join Europe’s Largest Airline Group! This is a very exciting time to join Ryanair as we look to expand our operation to over 800 aircraft and 300 million guests within the next 10 years The Role: Reporting to the Line Maintenance Manager, You will work within a dedicated team and provide support in the following areas:

  • Report to Line Maintenance Manager
  • Oversee the day to day running of line operations
  • Oversee aircraft maintenance planning and rostering
  • Monitor aircraft maintenance operations and provide management co-ordination.
  • Ensure Aircraft maintenance and associated activities are conducted in accordance with approved data and company procedures.
  • Oversee and update line maintenance procedures to ensure continued compliance with company procedures and EASA/UKCAA regulations.
  • Ensure sufficient personnel are provided in order to plan, perform and certify all aircraft maintenance and associated activities.
  • Ensure tools, equipment and materials are present to perform the planned tasks
  • Coordinate line maintenance requirements with MCC, Maintenance Stations, Materials, Quality/Compliance, Planning and Commercial Departments.
  • Establish and promote a safe working environment and culture, conducive to good and efficient maintenance practices as part of the company safety management system.
  • Identify and manage safety risks in line maintenance operations in collaboration with Safety department.
  • Cooperate with the Safety and Compliance Department for safety investigations
  • Assist and coordinate base openings, changes in scope and continuation audits for the continued operation of the Part145.
  • Assist and oversee the closure of audit findings, in coordination with the compliance department and with relevant National Aviation Authorities.

Requirements

  • Have a recognised aircraft engineering qualification
  • Line maintenance experience.
  • Possess knowledge of airworthiness regulations, such as EASA Part-M / Part145.
  • Possess Knowledge of a recognised aircraft maintenance and engineering computer system such as AMOS.
  • Flexible approach to working in fast changing environment.
  • Availability & flexibility to travel for work.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good computer literacy.
