Description

Ryanair are currently recruiting for a Deputy Head of Retail to join Europe's largest Airline Group

Ryanair’s Retail function delivers €300m+ in annual revenue across onboard food, beverage and duty-free. This role sits at the centre of commercial performance, supplier management, and operational delivery across a complex pan-European network and we are looking for an experienced, motivated candidate to assist in leading the team as we embark on our next period of growth. 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Lead supplier negotiations to secure best-in-class commercial terms, cost savings, and robust SLAs
  • Drive end-to-end supply chain performance, improving availability, reducing waste, and ensuring operational excellence
  • Own forecasting accuracy and stock management across a multi-base network
  • Deliver Fresh Food profitability through improved product mix, demand planning, and waste control
  • Define and execute onboard sales strategy, driving crew engagement and revenue growth
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team with clear KPIs, strong accountability, and data-led decision making
  • Ad-hoc duties as required. 

Requirements

  • Proven commercial leadership experience in retail, FMCG, or aviation operations
  • Strong track record in supplier negotiation, cost control, and margin delivery
  • Experience managing complex supply chains and forecasting at scale
  • Data-driven with the ability to translate insight into action
  • Strong leadership presence with a focus on performance and accountability
