Description

Ryanair is currently recruiting for a Contracts Manager to join Europe’s biggest airline group.

This role is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong analytical and interpersonal skills to work within the Ground Operations department, a key function of Ryanair. The successful candidate will play an integral role to fuel our growth to 800 aircraft and 300m passengers within the next 10 years.

The role has responsibilities with regards to managing, negotiating, and developing commercial relationships with Ground Handlers, ensure the implementation of all aspects of the contract and supporting the low cost expansion of Ryanair’s network

You will be responsible for:

  • Reduce handling costs at existing Ryanair airports, as well as identify and deliver low-cost deals at new airports.
  • Produce high-level financial reports, forecasts, budgets and cost analysis.
  • Manage and develop commercial relationships with Ground Handlers across the network.
  • Negotiate Ground Handling agreements.
  • Provide analysis and deliver insights that supports decision making in the Ground Operations Department.
  • Ability to travel internationally to meet with relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Have a commercially focused background (buyer / accountancy / legal)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong computer skills, especially with Excel.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, motivated to complete tasks independently and as part of a team.
  • High degree of initiative, strong interpersonal and communications skills
  • Proven track record in delivery with a demonstrated ability in managing multiple tasks.
