Description

Ryanair are currently recruiting for a Base Maintenance Planning Manager to join Europe's largest airline group.

This is an excellent time to join as we look to grow to over 800 aircraft and 300m guests within the next 10 years. 

The successful candidate should be both highly motivated and an experience planned as this is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the planning and coordination of Base Maintenance activities across our network, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and minimal disruption to operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Base Maintenance Planning team, ensuring optimal scheduling of heavy maintenance checks across Ryanair’s fleet.
  • Develop and maintain long-term base maintenance plans in coordination with Engineering, Operations, and third-party MROs.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are planned in accordance with EASA Part-CAMO and Part-145 regulations.
  • Monitor and report on KPIs related to maintenance planning efficiency, aircraft downtime, and resource utilization.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external maintenance providers to ensure timely execution of maintenance tasks.
  • Drive continuous improvement in planning processes, tools, and systems.
  • Support the Head of Planning in strategic initiatives and capacity planning for future fleet growth.

 

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance planning.
  • Strong knowledge of EASA Part-CAMO and Part-145 regulations.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or related field preferred
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
