Description
Ryanair is currently recruiting for an Assistant Crew Planning Manager to join their busy Inflight Department.
The successful candidate will report directly to our Crew Planning Manager, working a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern. This person will be responsible for the following:
- Managing a of team of Crew Planners, assigning daily tasks and ensuring they are completed efficiently
- Training and developing the Crew Planning team, ensuring that they are fully trained and have a strong knowledge of the current FTL scheme and Fatigue Management
- Set up of new team members on all internal systems and keeping record of their training files
- Running daily/weekly/monthly/annual reports including hours, unpaid leave and payroll reports and checking the quality of rosters
- Ensuring that Cabin Crew rosters are planned correctly and in accordance with flight time limitations and company procedures
- Be familiar with the legislation by various governing authorities and local legislation
- Managing the Crew Planning responses on Zendesk query system
- Responsibility of roster management for a number of bases
- Attending meetings on behalf of the department and providing feedback to Management
- Working as a point of contact and interacting with other key departments within Ryanair such as Crew Control, Training, HR
- Covering tasks of Crew Planning Manager in the event of their absence
- Ad hoc duties as required
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have to demonstrate:
- Proven numeric, analytical, administrative and computer skills (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel etc.) - advanced Excel is required for this position
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Preferable experience or 3rd level degree in Business, Analytic Science, Accounting/Finance or Mathematics
- Knowledge of ROCS Crew system is preferable
- Ability to work on own initiative and to work to deadlines
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to change quickly
