Description
Ryanair is currently recruiting for an Aircraft Performance Engineering Manager to join our team.
Leading a team in our Stansted office, the successful candidate will deliver technical support for all aspects of aircraft performance and weight and balance achieving the highest levels of accuracy, productivity and efficiency.
The Role:
- Control & revision ensuring regulatory compliance of the Ryanair Performance Manual (Preamble), Weight and Balance and Loading Control Manual including Ryanair Loading Schedule.
- Control and support of all Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) PD related functions
- Airport/runway obstacle analysis to determine optimum take-off/landing performance for all RYR current & potential destinations/alternates. To include the calculation & provision of Engine Failure Turn Procedures where required.
- Create & maintain load control data in accordance with Ryanair Fleet Weight program.
- Evaluation of potential new airports advising the Commercial Department on their operational viability, to include Airport Categorisation, airport visits and provide all required support for the B737-700 charter operations.
- Payload/range analysis for potential new routes.
- Respond & provide feedback to crew, all internal departments and external suppliers on all performance & load control related issues encountered during line ops.
- Daily monitoring and assessment of operational impact of published NOTAMS to ensure timely availability of accurate data meeting all requirements for RYR operations.
- Monitoring of AIP, Aeronautical Charts and FMC data for action item affecting PD issued/published data.
- Preparation, revision, control and publication of Airfield Briefing (AFB) documentation for CAT B & CAT C airports.
- Liaison with external agencies including aircraft manufacturer, regulatory authorities, contractors, suppliers and airport authorities to ensure timely availability of accurate data meeting all requirements for RYR operations

Requirements
The highly motivated candidate will ideally have extensive operational experience in the same or a similarly related Flight Operations environment with B737 aircraft experience.
Extensive knowledge of aircraft performance principles and applications, Manufacturers Operations Engineering Software Applications and the regulatory environment
The successful applicant will have a degree in Aeronautical Engineering or a related field. You will need to be a quick learner with strong attention to detail and excellent organisational, communication and analytical ability.
