Description

Prestwick Aircraft Maintenance Ltd (PAML) is one of six heavy aircraft maintenance providers for our client Ryanair, carrying out maintenance on Ryanair's entire fleet of New Generation Boeing 737-800 series aircraft, at our Hangar facility located at Prestwick International Airport, Ayrshire, Scotland.

Prestwick Aircraft Maintenance Ltd (PAML) Group is currently recruiting for a part 145 Records Supervisor to join our Heavy Maintenance Training department. 

The Role
Duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Responsible for maintaining annual training plans and records management across all PAML training facilities; including training, qualification, and competency assessments.
  • Responsible for maintaining the approved records system.
  • Oversight of management and tracking of all PAML due dates and renewal expiries to ensure compliance across the engineering department.
  • Oversight of weekly PAML mandatory training expiry reports issued by Records Coordinators,
  • Responsible for in-house procedures relevant to role
  • Regular liaison with AMOS Support and E-learning support team for maintenance of records and troubleshooting
  • To conduct regular meetings with the Base Maintenance Training Records team
  • All other duties as required by the Training Manager/Training Lead.

Requirements

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Experience in managing a team! 
  • A keen eye to detail and ability to bring productivity to the management team.
  • Ability to plan and work to deadlines laid out by the management teams.
  • Strong working knowledge of Office 365, and keen to learn new programs/software tools to enhance working ways.
  • Be an effective communicator and interact with the team through all types of communication (verbal, face-to face, virtual)
  • Applicants must be open minded, eager to learn new skills and bring new ideas to the team.
  • Must have a strong work ethic and show responsibility to their own work and completion in a timely manner.
  • Must be flexible and able to adapt to change quickly.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
