Description
DM Aircraft Maintenance are the dedicated engineering maintenance provider based in Vienna, Austria providing comprehensive maintenance on the Lauda A320 and Ryanair B737 fleet of aircraft.
We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and proactive HR Generalist to join our highly skilled team in Vienna. The HR Generalist will report directly to the HR Manager to assist with the day-to-day HR Function for the Vienna region.
This is a permanent role.
Responsibilities:
- To manage the day-to-day HR function for the Vienna base
- To manage talent acquisition and recruitment processes from identifying staffing requirements through to onboarding
- To monitor employee absence and turnover, identifying trends and to manage accordingly
- To assist in the development and implementation of human resource policies
- To process and manage the payroll, ensuring accurate and timely payment of salaries
- To gather essential HR data for weekly reporting to the HR Manager
- To manage personnel administration in electronic and paper form
- To support employees in HR related topics and resolve promptly any issues that may arise
- To support and advise all managers on HR related matters
- To ensure full compliance with local Labour Law regulations
- To assist the HR & Area Manager with additional support as and when necessary
- Any other duties / tasks as requested by your manager
Requirements
- Must have an HR Degree and proven experience as an HR Generalist
- 2+ years of experience as HR Generalist or in similar position
- Must understand general human resources policies and procedures
- Must have a good knowledge of local employment and labour laws
- Knowledge of Engineering or a similar field is desirable
- Excellent English, written and spoken, is essential
- German language, written and spoken, is desirable
- Good Computer skills (MS Office – Excel essential)
- Good communication and people skills
- A team player with the ability to use initiative and work independently as required
- A flexible approach to working in a fast-paced, changing environment
