Description

Ryanair are recruiting for a Senior Sustainability / ESG Manger to join Europe’s Largest Airline Group.

This is an excellent time to join Ryanair as we look to grow to over 800 aircraft and 300m guests per year within the next 10 years. 

Based in our Global Headquarters in Dublin and reporting directly to the Deputy Director of Sustainability & Finance, this is a key role within the Sustainability team and is essential to ensure Ryanair complies with all CSRD regulations.  This is a highly visible role where the successful candidate will engage with senior leaders across the wider group and will be play an integral role in ensuring that Ryanair remains the European leader in sustainability and ESG. 

Responsibilities

  • Drive the co-ordination, data gathering and drafting of CSRD disclosures.
  • Ensure controls supporting CSRD operate effectively and engage internal and external auditors.
  • Draft CDP disclosures.
  • Engage ESG rating agencies.
  • Conducting research and analysis on the latest trends and developments in the aviation sustainability sector and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Monitor and report against ESG metrics and targets.
  • Ad-hoc reporting as required. 
     

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree or higher in environmental science, engineering, finance, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the aviation industry, preferably in a sustainability-related role.
  • Knowledge of the regulation and policy frameworks for SAF and ETS, and their implications for the aviation sector.
  • Excellent analytical skills are essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high degree of initiative alongside strong interpersonal and excellent communications skills.
