Stores Site Supervisor (Aviation) KAMS

Description

✈ Supervise the daily operations of the site’s stores;

✈ Maintain accurate records of stock movements in the AMOS system;

✈ Ensure all store activities comply with company procedures and regulatory requirements;

✈ Support internal and external audits; assist in resolving Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs);

✈ Monitor and manage stock levels and shelf-life items to align with operational requirements and avoid unnecessary waste;

✈ Supervise receipt inspections of incoming parts, materials, and tooling, ensuring correct classification and documentation;

✈ Supervise the dispatch and shipping of items from Stores, ensuring compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements;

✈ Ensure staff performing inspections hold valid Authorisation Certificates (PACs);

✈ Manage the stores team roster, including leave, overtime, and sickness, ensuring adequate staffing levels;

✈ Assign tasks and monitor performance to ensure standards are met;

✈ Maintain training records and ensure all staff are competent and certified for their roles;

✈ Maintain and update site-level performance boards and KPIs;

✈ Liaise with engineering and materials teams to ensure timely availability of required parts and tools;

✈ Manage and own risks within area of responsibility through hazard identification and risk assessment process;

✈ Notifying any errors, near misses, inaccurate, incomplete or ambiguous procedure, practice information or maintenance instruction contained in the maintenance data used by stores personnel to via PAML Reporting system.

Requirements

✈ Previous experience working in a Stores environment is essential;

✈ Previous experience working in a Team Leader/Leadership role is highly desirable;

✈ Understanding of EASA/UKCAA Part 145, and EU 376/2014 reporting obligations;

✈ Capable of prioritising a demanding workload to tight deadlines;

✈ Strong organisational and problem-solving capabilities;

✈ Strong IT skills, including in depth AMOS knowledge;

✈ Excellent spoken and written English is essential.
