We have an exciting opportunity for an insights driven Business Development Executive to join the wider Marketting team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with one of Europe’s biggest and best digital platforms in a fast paced and challenging environment.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Support the Business Development Manager on the Distribution Team to manage a portfolio of distribution partners from corporate to leisure travel
- Manage partnership relationships from contract negotiations and onboarding to day-to-day queries and post-booking processes
- Monitor performance and report on weekly figures to senior stakeholders
- Manage invoicing process with partners to ensure payments get paid and received in a timely manner
- Attend bi-weekly meetings with partners and tech teams to ensure timelines are on track to reach set goals
- Become the main point of contact for partners to help answer, escalate, and delegate any queries
- Research business and industry trends to identify potential new clients and ways to serve existing clients in corporate travel
- Prepare client presentations and materials, including PowerPoint and sales displays
- Preparing and delivering pitches to potential new leads
- Negotiate business terms with new and existing clients using phone, email and in-person meetings
- Sales statistics, calculating metrics such as return on investment (ROI), pipeline value and qualified leads per month
- Work cross-functionally with the whole marketing department to meet and surpass team objectives
Requirements
- 1 + years’ experience in Sales, Business Development, or similar role
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies, Sales, Marketing, or similar field.
- Excellent multi-tasking skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks
- Excellent verbal and communication skills
- Ability to present and explain ideas to a variety of audiences
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Enthusiastic to build good relationships with people
- Previous GDS/ travel distribution experience would be an advantage
- Proficient in MS Office
