Ryanair is currently recruiting for a Head of Technical Services
Reporting to the Deputy Director of Technical Services, the Head of Technical Services – Systems & Avionics will be responsible for the oversight of all activity of the Technical Services Systems and Avionics departments, for the Ryanair Group airlines. The Head of Technical Services will also act as a Deputy to the Deputy Director of Technical Services in their absence.
As Head of Technical Services, you will assist in driving the teams to ensure the department successfully delivers its core objectives, while also meeting the challenges of our continuing fleet growth as we look to expand our fleet to 800 aircraft while carrying 300m passengers a year by 2034!
Responsibilities -
- The successful person will be able to drive compliance, operational and efficiency improvements across the Technical Services Systems and Avionics departments.
- You will be able to demonstrate the ability to operate at the highest level within Ryanair’s Engineering organisation, including the Chief Engineers of AOCs; National Authorities.
- Excellent management skills are a must as is an ability to drive change.
- You will have a proven successful track record as a manager in an aircraft engineering organisation and will be able to demonstrate exceptional technical, commercial and organisational skills.
Requirements
Qualifications -
- EASA Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance License (B1 or B2 Preferred)
- Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aviation Management, or related field.
Experience -
- 8+ years experience in Aviation
- Proven experience in a Part M, Part CAMO or Part 145 environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of applicable aviation regulations.
- Excellent communication & stakeholder-management skills.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel as required.
- Technical Knowledge of Boeing 737/A320/Bombardier Challenger an advantage.
