Description
Ryanair is currently recruiting for a Duty Materials Supervisor to join their engineering team within Europe's Largest Airline Group.
Based in our Dublin Office, the successful candidate will work as part of the Ryanair Engineering department responsible for the maintenance of over 600+ aircraft.
Your duties are, but not limited to :
- Supervision of all materials issues within Maintenance Control.
- Ensuring that there is a robust procedure for handling all AOG requests.
- Liaising with the materials department in Purchase, Repair and Warranty Control.
- Monitoring the supply performance of all material supply agencies that affect day to day operations.
- Ensuring that there is an effective procedure for liasing with maintenance organisations in relation to all material issues when aircraft are on the maintenance.
- Monitoring all check shortages with a view to avoiding future shortages.
- Monitoring all HIL requirements and liaise with materials department as necessary.
- Monitoring and controlling the costs of the various services provided.
- Ensuring that there is a process in place that allows all critical shipments from our various stores to ship in a timely manner.
- Roster control.
- ENsuring that AMOS reports are reviewed and actioned accordingly.
- Proactively assisting in controlling defect rectifications.
- Ensuring outstations are fully tuned into all materials issues.
- Actively support maintenance review meetings .
- Support training from a materials perspective.
- Accomplish other such duties as may be reasonably directed by management.
Requirements
- A proven track record
- Supervisory experience desirable
- Experience of negotiations at a senior level
- The ability to organise a diverse level of tasks within the department
- The ability to work in a highly pressurised environment.
- A desire to stamp their authority on the job.
