Description

Ryanair are currently recruiting for a Flight Planner to join Europe's Largest Airline Group.

Based in our head office in Airside Business Park in Swords, the successful candidate will work in our Operations Control Centre. This is an excellent opportunity to join Europe's leading airline and to gain experience in a busy working environment.

*This is a shift based position on a '4 on / 4 off' basis and would include night shifts*.

Starting package of €40,000 p/a plus an additional €6,000 annual performance based bonus.

Package increases to €45,000 p/a after 1 year plus €6,000 bonus.

Duties will include (but not limited):

  • Developing and implementing solutions for day to day Flight Planning problems
  • Assisting Flight Operations; cost effective solutions to Flight Planning disruptions/delays
  • Monitoring flight plan production
  • Compilation of reports as required
  • Monitoring ATC messages and react accordingly
  • Preparation of Flight planning paperwork for crews
  • Updating route manuals/catalogue
  • Updating Aircraft Performance Data
  • Any other duties as requested by Operations Control Management

Requirements

  • A high degree of flexibility will be required as the successful candidate should possess:
  • The ability to work and communicate effectively under pressure
  • Good problem solving and logistical skills
  • Good interpersonal skills strong outgoing personality
  • Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel and Netline would be an advantage)
  • Ability to hold a Dublin Airport ID
