Ryanair Labs are currently recruiting for a BI Reporting Analyst to join Europe’s Largest Airline Group!

The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, analysts, product teams, and senior management to transform data into meaningful insights. You will play a key role in improving reporting standards, ensuring data accuracy, and delivering clear, actionable reporting across multiple business areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain BI reports, dashboards, and data visualisations.
  • Gather reporting requirements from stakeholders across different business functions.
  • Translate business needs into clear reporting specifications and technical solutions.
  • Analyse data to identify trends, patterns, exceptions, and business opportunities.
  • Create and maintain automated reporting solutions to reduce manual processes.
  • Ensure reports are accurate, consistent, well-documented, and easy to understand.
  • Work with data engineering teams to validate data sources, data models, and pipelines.
  • Support data quality checks and investigate reporting discrepancies.
  • Develop self-service reporting tools and dashboards for business users.
  • Monitor report usage and continuously improve reporting performance and relevance.
  • Maintain documentation for reports, KPIs, data definitions, and business rules.
  • Support ad hoc analysis and reporting requests when required.
  • Promote BI best practices across the organisation. 

Requirements

  • Experience in a BI, reporting, data analyst, or similar role.
  • Strong experience creating dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Looker, or similar.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into reporting solutions.
  • Experience working with large and complex datasets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good understanding of data modelling, KPIs, metrics, and reporting principles.
  • Ability to communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Desirable Skills:

  • Advanced Power BI experience, including DAX, Power Query, and data modelling.
  • Experience with cloud data platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of data warehouses, data marts, and ETL/ELT processes.
  • Experience with tools such as SQL Server, Snowflake, Databricks, Synapse, BigQuery, or Redshift.
  • Understanding of Python or R for data analysis would be beneficial.
  • Experience with dashboard performance optimisation.
  • Familiarity with data governance, data quality, and master data management principles.
  • Experience working with finance, commercial, operations, customer, digital, or product data.
  • Knowledge of agile delivery practices and tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
