Description
Ryanair, Europe’s Largest Airline Group, are currently hiring for a Reliability Manager. This is a great time to join Ryanair, as we look to expand to 800 aircraft, and 300 million passengers by 2034.
The available role is eligible to be located in Dublin or Madrid.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all elements of the Reliability Section in Ryanair’s Technical Services department and will include:
- The review and analysis of maintenance data relating to components and systems, the identification and resolution of reliability alerts, and identification of solutions for repetitive delay causes.
- Drive process innovation and automation using Power BI and data programming.
- Working with Boeing and OEMs to drive reliability improvement into Ryanair’s operation.
- Performing detailed cost/benefit analysis of reliability improvement options and making solid recommendations to executive management.
- Provision of reports and analysis of aircraft dispatch reliability and identification of solutions for repetitive delay causes.
- Responsible for chairing the monthly Reliability meeting with senior management.
- Participation in reviews with the worldwide 737 operators and influencing Boeing’s reliability priorities.
Requirements
- Relevant Engineering Degree / EASA Part 66 license. Degree in Computer Science or a related field, with strong data analytical skills, could also be considered.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Technical Services / CAMO role with management experience.
- Good knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, Python, Java, or C/C++, and usage of PowerBi, would be preferable.
- Good working knowledge of AMOS would be preferable.
- Flexible approach with project delivery being a high priority.
- Excellent communication skills, both in-person and by electronic means.
- Able to demonstrate the ability to operate at the highest level within Ryanair’s Engineering organization, including the Chief Engineers of AOCs, and National Authorities.
- Excellent management skills, with a proven track record as a manager are a must as is an ability to drive change.
