Description

Ryanair are currently recruiting for a Pilot Rostering Supervisor to work on the Week 1 Team within the Pilot Rostering Team.

The Pilot Rostering Supervisor will be required to lead and manage the Week 1 Pilot Rostering Team, ensuring accurate and timely creation, publication, and maintenance of pilot rosters in compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and operational needs. A key focus will be on swap processing and monitoring, driving improvements and supporting automation initiatives, as well as identifying opportunities for Voluntary Time Off (VTO) and planning and advertising these to enhance roster efficiency and productivity.

Duties include but not limited to

  • Supervise and coordinate the Week 1 rostering team to deliver high-quality rosters on time.
  • Ensure compliance with flight time limitations, fatigue management, and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee resolution of roster-related queries and issues promptly and professionally.
  • Manage and monitor swap processing, ensuring accuracy and fairness while identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement automation solutions for VTO and swap handling.
  • Identify opportunities for VTO (Voluntary Time Off) and manage the advertising and planning of VTO slots to optimize roster efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor and manage workload distribution within the team to maintain efficiency.
  • Liaise with Flight Operations, Pilot Rostering Team, Training Teams, Crew Control, and other stakeholders to ensure roster integrity.
  • Implement process improvements and contribute to ROCS enhancements.
  • Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to team members.
  • Prepare weekly reports on roster accuracy, swap activity, VTO uptake, adherence to deadlines, and team performance.
     

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 years in crew rostering or scheduling within aviation.
  • Previous supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
  • Experience in process optimization, automation, and workforce planning is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of crew rostering principles.
  • Proficiency in ROCS and supporting reporting tools. 
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and process improvement focus.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
