Ryanair are currently recruiting for a Regional Safety & Compliance Manager  to join Europe’s largest airline group.

The successful candidate will work as part of our Flight Operations Department based in our Stansted Office in Enterprise House.

This role is suitable for a candidate with a background in supply chain or logistics as it focuses on effectively utilising resources to maximise operational efficiency.

Ryanair is recruiting an Regional Safety & Compliance Manager Reporting to the Gerneral Manager Ground Operations, this permanent position in our Operations Department plays a key role in guiding the strategic direction of Ryanair’s involvement in Compliance.

  • Follow up and action all GSR’s, ASR’s,  
  • Trend analysis of GSR’s, ASR’s, from all airport in the region.
  • Complete GFR’s & GI’s related to airports in your region.
  • Conduct investigations as required, establishing
  • Root Cause and Corrective Actions.
  • Conduct in depth pre-audits in advance of any internal or external audits.
  • Attend  or ensure an appointed manager attends internal and external audits and ensure only agreed findings are recorded with immediate follow up
  • Visit airports and conduct audits on both FoH & Ramp Operations
  • Review self-audits from each airport monthly and send to S&C Officer Dublin
  • Follow up with airports who have low submission rates of GSR’s and promote reporting
  • Ensure all NC’s and OBS are completed on Coruson at least 5 days before the closure deadline date.

Requirements

  • Experience in managing safety KPI's
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal (standard one's)
  • Demonstrate recent relevant experience in safety and compliance within Aviation.
  • Have previous experience in managing and using safety management systems.
  • Understanding of audits, root cause analysis, investigations and risk assessments.
  • Understanding of the Ground Handling regulation.
