Description
Ryanair are currently recruiting for a Safety Data Analyst to join Europe's largest airline group.
This is an excellent time to join Ryanair as we look to grow to over 800 aircraft and 300m guests per year within the next 10 years.
You will work as part of a team with responsibility for Ryanair’s industry leading safety record. As our Safety Analyst, you will be responsible for developing statistical analyses and identifying trends in reporting data related to hazards, events, and occurrences. You will report to the SMS Data Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Establish, adjust, and track Safety Performance Indicators (SPIs) that reference Allowable Levels of Safety Performance (ALOSP), as directed by the Safety Manager, as part of SMS Safety Assurance requirements.
- Ensures accurate input, retention, and visualisation of data.
- Escalates Safety Reports as appropriate provides report summaries and deidentifies them as applicable.
- Recognises and promotes hazard reporting and ensures an effective safety reporting process.
- Ensures confidentiality, professionalism, and objectivity in all Safety Reports.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in a data related field or equivalent work experience is preferred.
- Aviation experience is preferable but not essential.
- Demonstrated ability to read and understand the documented processes and procedures needed.
- Prepare presentation materials for the Safety Manager and Director of Safety.
- Interested in data visualisation tools like Power BI and skilled in creating dashboards.
- Aid in data collection for incident investigation reports.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to interact successfully with various departments, including departmental leadership.
- A successful candidate will thrive in a high volume, fast-paced, time-sensitive work environment.
- Knowledge of aviation operations, strong organisational skills, action-oriented multitasking capabilities, and excellent communication skills are key requirements to be successful in this role.
